Terms and Conditions
1. Materials and Mileage
- All materials costs and mileage fees are due in full prior to the start of any work.
- These fees cover the purchase and transportation of required supplies and are non-refundable once materials have been purchased or travel has begun.
- Mile/Trip charges start at 20 miles from the shop. Standard rate is $125 trip charge for trips 20-30 miles, and an additional $2.41/mile + labor per man after 30 miles.
2. Labor Costs Under $300
- For projects where the total labor charge is less than $300, payment for labor is due immediately upon completion of the work.
3. Labor Costs Between $300 and $1,000
- For projects where the total labor charge is between $300 and $1,000, a 50% deposit may be required before work begins.
- The remaining balance is due upon completion of the project.
4. Labor Costs over $1,000
- For projects where the total charge exceeds $1,000, a 50% deposit will be taken before the order is submitted. The final balance will be due upon completion of the project.
- This ensures the steady progress and fair compensation for work performed as the project advances.
5. Payment Methods and Due Dates
- Accepted forms of payment include cash, or electronic payment (as agreed upon before work begins).
- Payments with Debit card will be charged an extra 3%. To avoid this charge, pay using one of the methods below.
Cash Payments
Checks Made out to Greenville Glass Master
- Work will not commence until all required upfront payments are received and cleared.
- Payment will be due ‘On Receipt’ unless otherwise stated
- Payments up to 7 days past due will have a minimum fee of $50.
- Once the number of days past due exceeds 7 calendar days, an interest of 1.5% will begin to compound weekly until paid in full.
6. Scheduling
- Work will be scheduled once the estimate is marked as “Accepted” and deposit has been paid (if applicable).
- Scheduling is subject to availability and may vary based on material delivery or current workload.
7. Cancellations and Scheduling
- Cancellations made after materials or mileage have been paid may result in forfeiture of those amounts.
8. Work Completion and Inspection
- Upon completion, the client will have the opportunity to inspect and approve the work.
- Final payment (if applicable) is due immediately after satisfactory completion, unless other net terms have been agreed upon.
- The receiving of final payment is acknowledging that the work completed is satisfactory.
INSULATED GLASS UNIT (IGU) REPLACEMENT WARRANTY
Manufacturer’s Warranty – Seal Failure:
Insulated Glass Units (IGUs) supplied by Greenville Glass Master, LLC are covered by the applicable manufacturer’s 10-year warranty against failure of the insulated-glass seal, subject to the manufacturer’s warranty terms and conditions. In the event of a covered seal failure, the replacement glass/IGU is covered as provided by the manufacturer.
The manufacturer’s warranty does not cover glass breakage, including but not limited to breakage caused by impact, accident, misuse, vandalism, thermal stress, movement or settling of the structure, improper handling after installation, or other conditions outside of a manufacturing seal failure.
Greenville Glass Master Workmanship Warranty:
Greenville Glass Master, LLC warrants its workmanship and installation of replacement IGUs for a period of two (2) years from the date of installation. This warranty is limited to defects directly attributable to GGM’s installation workmanship.
The GGM workmanship warranty does not cover glass breakage or damage to the glass occurring after installation, regardless of cause, including accidental or impact damage, thermal stress, vandalism, misuse, structural movement, or other conditions beyond GGM’s workmanship.
Warranty Limitations:
Warranties apply only to the original installation and are subject to the applicable manufacturer’s and Greenville Glass Master, LLC’s terms and conditions. Warranty coverage does not include damage caused by conditions outside the control of GGM or the glass manufacturer. Warranty claims must be reported promptly and must allow GGM reasonable opportunity to inspect the condition before repairs or replacement are authorized.
This warranty does not alter or replace any applicable manufacturer warranty and does not provide coverage beyond the specific terms stated above.
By submitting a request, calling into us, or messaging us via email, messenger, or text; in NO way contractually binds us to working together.
We formally send proper estimates via EMAIL ONLY. Our quickbooks offers estimating/invoicing software that we utilize. All estimates or invoices will come directly from QuickBooks or Greenville Glass Master. We require an approval on the estimate (and possibly a deposit) to be contractually bound to working together. Unless you call unless we cannot guarantee a quick response.
